The Nolah Smart Adjustable Base comes in five sizes, corresponding with standard mattress dimensions.

Dimensions and Mattress Size Compatibility

Twin XL: 37.5”Wx79.5”L

Full: 53.5"Wx73.5"L

Queen: 59.5”Wx79.5”L

Split King: You receive two connecting bases, each measuring 37.5”Wx79.5”L. For split functionality, use with two twin XL mattresses. Or, sync the bases and use with a single king mattress.

Split California King: You receive two connecting bases, each measuring 35.5”Wx83.5”L. For split functionality, use with two split California king mattresses. Or, sync the bases and use with a single California king mattress.

Height

All models of the Nolah Smart Adjustable Base feature adjustable legs with four height options: 6, 9, 12, or 15 inches. The platform is 3 inches tall. If you assemble the base with the tallest height option, the platform's surface (where the mattress rests) will be 18 inches from the ground.

You can also opt to remove the legs and use the zero-clearance adjustable platform on top your own foundation. See the "Compatibility" tab below for more details.

Mattress Weight and Size

The Smart Adjustable Base can support a total weight of 750 pounds, including your mattress. See the "Available Sizes & Dimensions" section above for information on mattress size compatibility.

Mattress Types

All Nolah mattresses are compatible with adjustable bases, as are most foam and latex mattresses from other companies. However, innerspring mattresses and hybrid mattresses from other brands may not have the flexibility to sustain use with an adjustable base. Refer to the mattress maker for more compatibility information.

Foundations

Depending on its construction and size, you may be able to use the Smart Adjustable Base with your existing foundation for styling purposes. This gives you the full functionality of an adjustable base while keeping your existing base's appearance.

You have two options: 1) Remove the Smart Adjustable Base's leg attachments and position the platform on top of your foundation, or 2) nestle the Smart Adjustable Base with leg attachments within your foundation. Please see the User Manual for foundation compatibility and safety information.

The Smart Adjustable Base is similar to the Adjustable Base but with a few additional luxury features. The most significant difference is the addition of wall-glide technology. As you incline the head of the bed, the platform glides backward, hugging the wall. This design ensures that your torso is always in line with your nightstand, no matter how you adjust the base.

The Smart Adjustable Base also has a built-in microphone for voice commands, which isn't featured on the Adjustable Base.

"Zero-gravity" and "zero-G" refer to a position that relieves tension and preserves your body's neutral posture. The position inclines your upper body to a 120-degree angle, raising your head above your heart. It also raises your legs to about 45 degrees with your knees slightly bent.

NASA originally developed zero-G to help astronauts transition between Earth's gravity and the weightlessness of space, but it has many everyday comforts and health benefits, including:

-Zero-G optimizes your weight distribution, easing muscle tension and preventing pressure buildup.
-It preserves neutral body posture, relieving back and hip pain.
